    • Hi Jose,

this is great work. Unfortunatly I get an error in Blend 4 RC (MSB4062):

Do you have a solution for that? I guess this is a special problem caused with Blend 4 RC (version 4.0.20408.0). Because when I open the project in Visual Web Developer 2010 Express it builds correctly and runs correctly.

As soon as I could test it with Blend 4 (RC) I will give you 5 stars. Because this is really great. Sorry for that delay time but your 5 stars are guaranteed.

      Best reards,
      Martin
    • Hi Martin,

I am happy you like it :) unfortunately I think this is a problem with Blend 4 RC, hopefully will be solved with RTM.. does it happen the same to your behaviors when you run them with Blend?
I'll give it a look and a Bing search of the issue to see what do I discover...

Thanks for the (delayed) 5 stars :)
    • Hi Jose,

if I run my behaviors (those I developed) at Blend 4 RC the error doesn't occur. Neither it occurs when I use the MS behaviors nor with third party behaviors.

      Best regards,
      Martin

    • Hi LawBot,

You were absolutely right. I have checked and found I had the MSB4126 you mentioned, which is caused by BLEND using the PLATFORM environment variable, which caused Blend not to be able to run. More info about it here: http://forums.silverlight.net/forums/p/177480/399576.aspx
Anyway I made Blend run deleting value on the PLATFORM registry key which is on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Environment (with regedit).

I have done so and now blend runs smoothly. Can you test it and tell me if it works for you now?

      Kind regards,
      Jose Luis

    • Hi Jose,

sorry, but the error thrown is MSB4062 and not MSB4126.

MSB4062 is a known issue and I posted about that. Error MSB4126 is still unsolved for me. Unfortunately.

      Best regards,
      Martin
    • All these error numbers ... it was MSB4126 that I posted about in the Expression Blend forum and that is a known issue. Sorry for that.

But MSB4062 (thrown in Blend 4 RC when I build your project) is still unsolved to me.
    • Hi Lawbot,

I've tested it on 3 different machines, and works without issues on Blend. Maybe you have Blend 4 RC v4.0.20408.0 and I have developed it using a newer version (V4.0.20421.0). If you re-do the project and only using the behavior cs code (or remove the interactivity blend lib - System.Windows.Interactivity.dll - and add your actual one) it should work... anyway if you want you can contact me through "jose @ brainsiders dot com" and I'll be more than happy to discuss this with you offline.

      Thanks for the trouble!
      Jose
    • Hey Jose,

now I am working with Expression Blend 4 final and your project works perfectly with Blend 4.

So ... here ***** ;-) and of course in the official Gallery rating are my 5 stars for this cool sample and source.

      Martin
    • Thanks Martin!! these have been the hardest 5 points to win :) but I am very happy to have them!! :D
